Yes! Starting in version 3.5 and above Enzoic now no longer requires a user to be part of Domain or Enterprise admins in order to use the console. While membership to either of those groups will still allow full access to configuration there is a new group called Enzoic Admins that will contain all of the necessary permissions, and only those permissions.

Will I be notified if I do not have sufficient permissions to open the console?
Yes, a modal will appear confirming that you must be a part of one of the above groups or have the specific access required to open the console. If you were added to these groups but still receive this popup, make sure you have logged off and back on to refresh your group membership access.

I am currently a member of the Domain Admins group, do I need to be added to Enzoic Admins as well?

Nope! As long as you are either part of Domain Admins, Enterprise Admins, or Enzoic Admins you will be able to access the console.

Do I need to create the Enzoic Admins group manually before I upgrade or install version 3.5?

No, the group will be created during the upgrade or installation process.

Is 3.5 backwards compatibility with older versions?

Sort of. 3.5 settings will be compatible with older versions of Enzoic. However, the new least privilege access will NOT work if you are continuing to run a version of Enzoic for Active Directory older than version 3.5. The versions will fight over permissions until you are fully upgraded to version 3.5. Once you upgrade your last domain controller to 3.5, you should restart the EnzoicService.exe on the delegate domain controller.
